Weight is the root cause of all diseases, the evil of one’s well being and health. Men or women; losing weight is sort of becoming a fashion these days. Looking thin and young is the ultimate symbol of sex appeal. The physiology of men and women are different and so does the result is different for each. Women particularly respond differently to exercise and dieting. But despite these holistic approaches some women’s body don’t respond much to whatever they try, in order to reduce weight. Four such symptoms have been observed in a recent study, which are surprising, as they decrease your metabolism and tendency to reduce your body mass index:
a. An under-active thyroid can decrease your metabolism and thus the effect of eating less and working out more, don’t become apparent at all. In many cases even your doctor cannot note it. To help yourself out of this condition: ask your doctor to prescribe you thyroid medicine suitable to your level.
b. Find your own trouble foods. Though you might know your food allergies, but these are the foods that give you water-weight as well as bloated feeling. These food vary from person to person but generally speaking things like dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, corn and nuts create this effect.
c. Prescription drugs can also land you in trouble through their side effects. Generally anti-depressants, steroids and contraceptives are lethal for your healthy weight.
d. Some women may have menstrual tendency to create more male hormones. 1 out of every 10 women face this problem, this can typically create insulin resistance and may lead to type 2 diabetes. Cut-off refined carbs and added sugars, push your diet and work-out regimen to next level and watch the results.
