Reports: Packages explode at Maryland gov’t buildings

Two packages exploded in the mailrooms of two government buildings in Maryland on Thursday, local media reports, and several people were believed to have been injured.
ABC 2 said one of the explosions happened just after 1 p.m. local time at the Maryland Department of Transportation Headquarters in Anne Arundel County, while a second explosion happened at the Jeffrey Building in downtown Annapolis. The channel reported it may have been an improvised explosive device.
