Tylenol, a fairly known pain-killer has been found to induce few side-effects that may prove extremely dangerous for its users. Medical practitioners and patients normally use it in the same capacity as aspirin or ibuprofen. But recent studies have revealed that people especially teen-agers who use it at least once a month have higher chances to acquire  asthma, allergic nasal conditions and the skin disorder eczema.

The study also indicates that the drug might not actually induce the disorder but increases the possibility of getting vulnerable to similar side-effects; in many cases the children were originally using it to evade asthma attacks.

Other well-known side-effects of the drug are liver damage in case of overdose, and progressive hair loss in men. Some newborns even carry it forward as asthma when their mothers have used it during pregnancy or even when these newborns were exposed to the drug at an early age.

This study was documented in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine by researchers in the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood.
